As many of you know I pleaded guilty to one count of hiding assets in my Bankruptcy in 2000. The thousands of you who do business with me know that there is nothing I prize more than the ability to admit my mistakes, grow from them and move on. I wear my personal failure as a badge of my human weakness and as a reminder that good people can make bad decisions under pressure. What would you have done if you lost everything and the last vestage of honor you had was about to be taken off your wife's ring finger? It was wrong, but I understand why I hid that wedding ring. Now that time has passed I kinda wish I had hid something that had value :)
Today I received an email, by way of a second party, that someone had marked up an article to say that I was not guilty of that crime and posted it on a BLOG. My ex-wife's name was attached to that posting but, of course, she denies having anything to do with it. Now, obviously, this fraudulent article gets submitted into my child custody discourse. Do you believe this continues?
Over 4 years have past since I was divorced and to this day mysterious postings, phone calls to clients and ridiculous slanderous allegations are still found new and improved on the web. Now I'm not making accusations here, it could well be people on my side of the battle, but I am asking everybody to STOP. It's time to live and with this posting I am asking all my friends and family to cease posting anything about my ex anywhere. The time will come to tell the whole story and I promise when the book is published this time next year it will all come out. I am writing the entire, uncensored story and, while I am likely to get sued, it will be the complete and whole truth of everything I have been through over the past 15 years. You all don't need to defend me, I got it covered :) and buy the book when it come out...
